Robert Mugabe is the president of Zimbabwe (Rhodesai), he has been holding power since April 18 1980. As one of the leaders of the liberation movement against white minority rule, he was elected into power thirty years ago. After he got into power, life became promising for the black Rhodesain, he erased all the abuse and unfairness that existed when the white man was ruling. Before he got elected black people where not allowed to, eat or dine with a white man. There was no education for the coloured people no health care; to name a few, but all this changed when he became president. It meant everyone was equal, education and health care for all, he became the voice and father for all black Rhodesians. By becoming the president it meant that Zimbabwean's could now be free in their own country without being oppressed. He changed the country and it became a well respected nation, once voted the most liveable country in the world. In a matter of decades it became the bread basket of Africa, and Zimbabweans (Rhodesains) where once ranked the most educated poeple in Africa. I attended elementary school in Zimbabwe and l must say looking back it was well advanced.
But with all this beauty that he created thirty years ago, he built it all to watch it fall and he still clings to power to this date. Once the bread basket of Africa; Zimbabwe rallies on Westren aid to feed its people, there is so much starvation, no health care no education it has became the poorest country and has been ranked the worst country to live in. He feeds his citizens with propaganda, he tells the "citizens the white people want to steal our country."He claims he has to stay in power inorder to fight the white man. If anyone opposes his party they are killed in broad day light. There is only one television station in the whole country and all foreign medai was banned, his pary ZanuPF conrol''s what people watch and read. He rules with an iron fist and refuses to step down from power, he denys that there is hunger and femine in the country.Foriegn medai is allowed in Zimbabwe only to report the beautiful parts of the country and he makes them flim the 2 % of people who are living in luxury.
Once oppressed by the white man, Mugabe has became worser than the oppresser he delivered his citizens from independence only to lead them to bondage.
